Altus will once again host a cutting edge technology day with Accelonix

Altus Group, is once again joining forces with Accelonix to host coNEXTions Technology Day at the Manufacturing Technology Centre in Coventry on 8th March, where key industry trends will be investigated in an open networking forum.

Presentations from the world’s biggest manufacturers and global suppliers, including Siemens and Koh Young Technology, to name but a few, will give those attending an inside view on how the latest technologies and techniques will help to capitalise on current UK manufacturing market trends.

Richard Booth, general manager Altus said: “We are again partnering with Accelonix, to bring attendees a comprehensive and informative day. The last coNEXTions Technology Day was such a success we felt it was important to hold another event for our customers.

“Since the last event, technology has advanced even further, and the seminar is the perfect opportunity to introduce some of the most innovative and ground-breaking equipment that will change the way SMT production, test and inspection procedures are fulfilled in the future. We will also be investigating new ideas to combat market pressures.

“For the first time, we will also have business leaders from the manufacturing sector giving presentations on their own personal challenges and how they are overcoming them, so those attending can avoid the same pitfalls.

“The day will focus on eight presentations provided by four of our tier one suppliers and four manufacturing business leaders. These talks will set the precedent for a day of idea sharing, challenging your peers and solving some of the issues organisations may face.”

The Altus technical team will be available throughout the event to run detailed demonstrations and will be on-hand to offer advice on all equipment. The day also includes a tour of the Manufacturing Technology Centre which works to support UK manufacturing on a global level.
