Altus announce its speakers at coNEXTions Technology Day

Altus Group, preeminent supplier of capital equipment in the UK and Ireland, has announced its distinguished speakers who will communicate thought-provoking presentations at the company’s coNEXTions Technology Day taking place at the Manufacturing Technology Centre in Coventry on the 8 March.

In association with Accelonix, an independent company supplying equipment, support and materials within the electronics and precision manufacturing markets, Altus has secured the world’s biggest manufacturers and global suppliers to discuss a range of subjects to attendees.

Presentations will take place from Koh Young, Systech Europe, Siemens, Vanilla Group, Hindley Circuits, Data I/Q and Cencorp Automation.

“coNEXTions is an opportunity for companies within the electronics and SMT sectors to connect with each other and understand more about the equipment which will help their manufacturing processes,” said Altus’ general manager, Richard Booth.

“Some of the world’s most innovative and pioneering capital equipment manufacturers will investigate a variety of subjects through thought-provoking presentations. For example, we will welcome Wolfgang Runte, European sales manager at Koh Young who will be presenting the new pin inspection technology and upcoming technologies set to make an impact in 2018.

“Ignace Braem from Siemens will also discuss hot topics like Industry 4.0 and SMART factories which will affect us all in the future. We have assembled a number of companies which we work closely with, to provide an interesting and varied range of topics that cover information on the latest technologies and techniques, and an inside view on the latest trends.

“Interestingly for the first time, we will also have business leaders from the manufacturing sector giving presentations on their own personal trials and how they are conquering them. Richard Whitehead from Hindley Circuits will join us to discuss challenges in the contract manufacturing world and what technologies they are using to overcome the issues.”
