Advanced plasma display extends PSCo Exclusives Range

PSCo Technical Distribution, a trade-only technical distributor of display technology, has announced the addition of an innovative expandable videowall product to its Exclusives Range. The PSCo 60” Bezel-less Plasma Display Panel (PDP) has a virtually seamless design with no size limitation, making it suitable for high-end retail and broadcast applications requiring life-size videowall displays to captivate audiences.

It is also able to offer motion picture performance for fast action sequences in movies, sports and video games.

The PSCo 60” Bezel-less Plasma is thin, at just 55mm, enabling efficient use of space and helping to simplify installation. Also, with an almost seamless bezel (0.9mm) it can be configured in ultra-large sizes and unconventional shapes for maximum impact in multi-screen videowall applications.

The new 60” plasma delivers a 0.001ms response time and its 600Hz sub-field drive enables consistent pixel brightness and smooth frame transitions to draw an audience’s attention and provide the maximum impact even when watching fast sequences. The screen has 1365 x 768 pixels resolution and brightness of up to 1700cd/m2, delivering exceptional image quality and clear visibility under various viewing conditions including indoor and street-level installations.

The plasma display is already field proven, having been successfully installed in a wide range of control room, corporate, education, broadcast and retail applications across the globe.
