AC-DC power supplies designed to cope with low temperatures

Now available from Dengrove Electronic Components is RECOM’s latest AC-DC power supplies featuring an extended operating temperature range allowing for use in areas where temperatures drop as low as -40°C. The RAC02-SE/277 and RAC03-SE/277 low-power modules have rated outputs of 2 or 3W respectively, with the 2W module now being offered with cables.

These compact modules have a height of just18mm and accommodate a wide input power range of 85-305VAC (120-430VDC) with output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12 and 24VDC. When idle, the modules consume maximum 40mW and are ideal for the supply of sensors and standby equipment.

The insulation strength between the input and the output is 3kVAC/min. The modules are available as DIP units with standard pinout or as wired units.

With an integrated input filter, the modules conform to the requirements of EN55022 Class B and can be operated without the need for additional external components and are short-circuit-proof with automatic restart after fault elimination.

The modules are certified to IEC/EN/UL 60950 and have a 3-year warranty.
