Based externally, Matthew Boyd is an experienced and innovative sales professional with sophisticated sales, customer service and business administration skills. Highly articulate, confident and a persuasive team builder, Matthew has a persistent yetflexible approach to the mutually beneficial achievement of business plans and personal goals of staff, suppliers and customers.

Gira UK is pleased to welcome this new sales manager, capitalising on his many years of industry experience where he dealt with large organisations, internationally owned groups and trade counter personnel up to managing director level. Competently able to set annual budgets, category margin breakdowns, point of sale and involvement with fundamental product launches, Matthew also uses his eight years of builders’ merchant experience spanning sales, purchasing, merchandising and stock control.

Based internally at Gira UK’s new London Premises, Stuart Hill has strived to hold a technically led position within a dynamic team combined with exemplary hands-on skill can bring visible benefits: enter Gira. An extremely enthusiastic and experienced team player, Stuart offers a broad range of skills in a flexible and professional manner.

With excellent written and verbal communication skills, his new role in technical support perfectly suits his ability to work to strict deadlines and schedules, all with a high attention to detail. His past achievements include the specification of KNK building and access controls, door communication and wiring accessories for the much-publicised Pavillion Eco House in London: winner of the Evening Standard New Homes Eco + Living Award in 2015 and also voted The UK’s Top Eco Home in The Guardian online 2014.

Also based internally at Gira UK’s new London Premises, Daniel Evans who started in September is a fully qualified electrical installation engineer and throughout his apprenticeship in wales he was nominated for Wales skillelectric 2013 finals and WONtwo ECA Edmundson awards in 2015 for ‘adult trainee of the year’ and ‘national adult trainee finalist’.

A specialist across residential and commercial markets which include schools, offices, houses and student accommodation, Daniel is fully equipped with a keen industry knowledge which is clearly identifiable with Gira’s well-regarded brand and company ethos.

Daniel comments on his new role at Gira UK saying: “My main objective at present is to work hard with Gira, as I believe this is a perfect opportunity to work with such a great company within the electrical industry. I really feel passionate about their products and hope to have many successful years working for them.”
