Luso Electronics Distribution has made available a range of 1 and 2 watt single-output DC-DC converter modules from CTC that offer DC outputs ranging from 3.3 to 15V, operation over a wide temperature range and power efficiencies of up to 80%.
Devices in the new P (1W) and P2 (2W) series offer input voltages of 5, 9, 12, 15 and 24V (plus 3.3V for the P2 series) and output voltages of 3.3, 5, 9, 12 and 15V. Output currents range from 66 to 303mA and 132 to 600mA for the P and P2 series, respectively.
Key features of the P/P2 series are the wide operating temperature range of -40 to +85°C and isolation voltage of 5200Vdc (for one second) and short-circuit protection. Other electrical specifications of the series include ripple and noise of 200mV (peak-peak maximum) and output voltage tolerances of 5% maximum. Line voltage regulation is 1.2% typical and 15% (3.3 and 5V outputs) and 10% (9, 12 and 15V outputs) maximum.
Available in UL94V-0 rated 7-pin SIP packages, featuring internal surface-mount construction, the devices meet international safety standards including CE EN-60950-1 and CE EN-60601-1.
