The awarding of an Alcumus SafeContractor certificate, a leading third-party accreditation scheme that recognises rigorous standards in health and safety management amongst contractors, builds on Powerstar’s extensive list of accreditations, including ISO9001:2015 for quality assurance, ISO14001:2015 for environmental management, and UL Quality Assurance.
Since being established in 2001 by its CEO Dr Alex Mardapittas, Powerstar has developed a reputation for engineering and providing bespoke, customer-focused energy saving solutions that are underpinned by the latest market innovations.
The company’s success has been enhanced by a key vision of investment in people. By acquiring the Alcumus SafeContractor certificate and operating a high level of health and safety in the workplace, Powerstar is able to focus on the development and growth of its employees to further build on its existing product and service offering through dedication, quality manufacturing and R&D.
Building on these values, Powerstar has recently launched a new distribution transformer product, Powerstar SO-LO, the only amorphous core transformer designed and manufactured in the UK, delivering efficiency and longevity.
