Nordic Semiconductor hosting seminars with Rutronik on nRF51 Series throughout Europe

Nordic Semiconductor is hosting a series of seminars in conjunction with Rutronik on the new nRF51 Series. These events, across Europe, will enable embedded application development engineers the opportunity to meet directly with experts associated with the nRF51 Series. The full-day seminars will be held in April and May in the United Kingdom, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland and Germany.

Each seminar features a detailed walk-through of the nRF51 series SoC and a full afternoon of software examples taken straight from the nRF51 SDK. All examples will be based upon the nRF51 Series Evaluation Kit. Upon completion of the day the participants will be familiar with the workings of the new nRF51 Series SoCs and be ready to start developing applications.

The topics include an ULP wireless overview, an introduction into the nRF51 Series, its architecture and the development tools and SW tool chain, details on the Bluetooth low energy qualification, an introduction into the nRF51 Series SDK as well as development examples and code reviews from nRF51 SDK.

The nRF51 Series SoCs from Nordic Semiconductor have been designed for next-generation ULP wireless designs featuring: 32-bit Cortex M0 MCU; multi-protocol architecture; protocol/application SW independence; programmable peripheral interconnect; user definable GPIO configuration; sub 10mA wireless links at 0dBm; Bluetooth low energy stacks; ANT stacks and 2.4GHz proprietary stacks

Participation in the seminars is free of charge, but prior registration is required at http://www.rutronik.com/exhibitions.html

The UK event takes place on the 16th April in Coventry.
