Brüel & Kjær have moved their UK headquarters to larger premises in Royston, Hertfordshire. The move follows the company’s successful integration of LDS Test & Measurement, a designer and manufacturer of vibration testing system, vibration controllers, and data acquisitions, which was acquired in 2008.
Situated just 15 miles north-east of the company’s previous location, all Brüel & Kjær UK and LDS Test & Measurement’s staff are now operating out of one modern, three-storey office block and factory. The air-conditioned, purpose built facility has state-of-art technology for staff and training use and a private car park. It also has an extensive training suite fitted with the latest audio visual equipment, sound proof rooms and refreshment facilities for hosting customers training courses, workshops and meetings.
Brüel & Kjær has built two new laboratories in the Royston Facility for accredited calibration. The laboratories are UKAS accredited to the international standard ISO/IEC 17025.
Brüel & Kjær provide traceable or accredited calibration for sound level meters, microphones, calibrators, artificial ears, conditioning amplifiers and accelerometers.
Established over 60 years ago, Brüel & Kjær provides sound and vibration solutions, including sound level meters, data recorders, microphones, accelerometers, conditioning amplifiers, calibrators and software. Its products and services are used in many different applications including environmental noise measurements, building acoustics, vibration measurements and quality control for use in automotive, aerospace and consumer industries - and local authorities.
