Power supply specialist Powersolve has launched the PAK1500 and PAK3000 series of compact, up to 90% efficient single output power supplies that provide high power outputs and a host of features normally found on more expensive units.
Both series comprise five models with outputs of 12V, 15V, 24V, 27V or 48VDC which are programmable for voltage and current via either an external resistor or voltage input. Voltage can be programmed over a range of 30-105% and current from 40-100%. Both models feature a universal AC input of 90-264VAC 50/60Hz and active PFC of 0.98 typical. The PAK1500 Series provides up to 1500W from a 1.5U profile unit that incorporates many features designed to make the power supply easy to use and easy for systems integrators to work with. These include remote sense function, remote on/off, power good signal, current sharing in parallel operation, output short circuit, overvoltage, overload, over temperature and fan failure protection. An auxiliary +5VDC/0.5A output is also provided as are status LED indicators. The PAK3000 Series includes all the features of the PAK1500 Series but provides up to 3000W from a 3U profile, high power density enclosure.
