Harwin, the hi-rel connector and SMT board hardware manufacturer, has signed a franchise distribution agreement with Aerco, the stockist and distributor of electrical components which focuses on customers operating within the aerospace, defence, medical, industrial, rail and transportation markets.
Commenting on the announcement Andrew McQuilken, Harwin’s CEO said: “Aerco is the perfect partner as we look to strengthen our sales channel in hi-rel markets. The company has a team of technical specialists offering design support, as well as connector assembly lines and large stock holding facilities. We are sure our Datamate 2mm pitch hi-rel connector family will suit their customer base, which includes major players such as BAE, Raytheon, Babcock, Goodrich, Westland Helicopters and Ultra Electronics.”
Aerco’s Managing Director, Rob Laughton, added: “The Harwin product line is an important addition to our portfolio and is complementary to our existing range of high quality, world-class products. We look forward to working with this major company in the UK electronics market.”
