Rapid Electronics has announced that it has added three new ranges of DIN Rail mounted enclosure solutions to its stock of cases and enclosures. The products from connector and terminal block specialist CamdenBoss offer housing, protection and styling for a wide range of electrical applications, such as power supplies, power controllers, communications devices and lighting controls.
The new enclosures include DIN Rail mounting module boxes, designed to DIN 43880, manufactured in grey polycarbonate UL 94V-0 flame retardant material. The narrowest module is 36mm wide, increasing to twelve times that size, featuring removable front and rear panels, perforated terminal covers, with PCBs able to be mounted in three positions horizontally and two to four vertically. The DIN Rail vented module kit components are made up of a variety of enclosures and can be used to assemble a custom designed DIN rail module box. Available in various size combinations, from 17.5mm to 210mm, the enclosures fit 35mm DIN rail or direct surface mount.
The DIN rail vented module box kits consist of base, top panel, terminal, and clips for rail or wall mounting. Each kit is supplied with two perforated terminal covers enabling customisation as required, and can carry up to three PCBs horizontally and two to four vertically. The front panel is suitable for screen printing logos. The enclosed base eliminates the need for any additional insulation.
