With the demand for capacitors continuing to grow strongly, selecting the most appropriate MLCC for high frequency circuit applications is proving to be an increasingly difficult challenge for engineers. In response Syfer has developed a range of sample kits for its High Q chip capacitors.
The standard kits cover the most common sizes and capacitance values, as in the 0402 size with 24 capacitance values from 0.1pF to 33pF. Other chip sizes included in the kits are 0505, 0603, 0805 and 1111.
Other capacitor sizes, or other values can be requested, or even a change of termination to FlexiCap, Syfer’s solution to reducing the possibility of mechanical cracking.
It is hoped that these kits will aid new circuit designs in the telecom infrastructure industry; in broadcast power amplifiers, high RF power circuits, filtering, diplexers and antenna matching applications.
