Aerco has launched the UF60D series, a range of small, AC equipment fans from Fulltech. Built in a 60 x 60 x 30mm frame size, the smallest AC axial fan frame available, this new fan lends itself to many applications that require small, densely packed electronic enclosures or housings that will not accommodate the previously smallest fan frame size of 80 x 80 x 25mm.
The fan also has a low noise emission of only 28 dBA at the maximum airflow of 4.8 litres/sec (10.24CFM) thus allowing it to be used in noise sensitive applications such as desk top or medical instrumentation.
Voltage variants are 100/115 VAC and 200/230 VAC at 50/60 Hz and the frame is all-metal with a die-cast aluminium housing and the impeller is plastic UL-94VO. The shaded pole motor is impedance protected and a precision ball bearing system ensures a life expectancy of 40,000 hours at 40ēC. Operating temperature range is -40ēC to 70ēC and the fan carries UL, CSA, CE and VDE approvals.
