TTI, Inc., a global distributor of passive, interconnect, relay & switch and discrete components, has announced that it has signed a deal to acquire the assets of Flightspares Electronics Ltd, a UK-based specialist connector distributor.

Flightspares has been established in the UK and Irish markets for many years and has a strong reputation in the industrial, rail, transportation, marine and defence sectors. The company’s main franchise has always been Tyco Electronics – a franchise also held by TTI – so the acquisition is highly complementary and it will allow TTI to expand and develop its activities with the world’s number one interconnect and passive component manufacturer.
