Honeywell’s LVDT is a pre-validated, configurable platform approach that provides continuous position monitoring: single channel, dual channel and dual tandem products in this range accommodate a wide variety of configurations and applications, including: flight controls, engines, nose wheel steering and pilot controls, plus many others. Honeywell LVDTs reduce installation time thanks to rig point position, which eliminates the need to shim during installation. Enhanced reliability is assured through industry-leading design and winding techniques and high strength materials, which reduce MTBF: Honeywell LVDTs have a minimum life cycle of 1 million hours MTBF.
Technical specifications include: accuracy of ±0.5 per cent of the full stroke gain from 0 per cent to 100 per cent of the LVDT stroke @ 21degC; normal operating pressure 2,000 psi; vibration 60G @5Hz to 2000 Hz. Current consumption is 11mA maximum.
