Matthias Kassner to become vice president product marketing at EnOcean

EnOcean, the world”s leading developer of energy harvesting wireless technology, appointed Matthias Kassner, EnOcean”s product marketing director, to the position of vice president product marketing on May 1, 2017. At the same time, he was appointed a member of the EnOcean management team. In this position, Matthias Kassner will be in charge of the global product marketing activities for the company”s current product portfolio for the key markets of building automation, smart homes, LED lighting control and industrial automation. In addition, Matthias Kassner will lead the definition of future, innovative EnOcean products in order to strengthen the company”s position as the leading supplier of energy harvesting wireless technology for maintenance-free applications in the Internet of Things.

Matthias Kassner has more than 15 years’ experience in the field of innovative wireless applications. Mr. Kassner has been EnOcean’s product marketing director since 2013, responsible, among other things, for defining new solutions for LED lighting control as well as for building the company’s 2.4-GHz product portfolio. Before joining EnOcean, Matthias Kassner held various jobs at Texas Instruments (TI) for 12 years, from wireless field application engineer to EMEA product marketing manager for TI’s application processor portfolio.
