Key lighting industry speakers to present at Fortronic UK LED and Lighting Design Forum

Fortronic has confirmed that Dr Roland Schultz, Applications Engineer for Optical Design from Osram Solid State Lighting will be presenting a paper at the upcoming LED & Lighting Design Forum on 26 March. Dr Schulz will present a paper on High Power LED Design Considerations and along with his colleague, Colin Beale, Technical Sales Manager at Osram, will also be running a 1 hour workshop on the Quality of Light.

Also confirmed is Dr Geoff Archenhold, the CEO and founder of Integrated System Technologies. With over 20 patents in the power, LED and lighting industry he will be presenting Power Control for BioDynamic Lighting. Recognised as one of Europe’s leading experts on solid-state lighting he has, on several occasions, been appointed as a strategic advisor to the UK Government’s Department of Business Innovation and Skills (BIS).

More recently, Archenhold contributed to the EC Green Paper on Lighting, which focused on how the European Commission should support and grow the energy efficient lighting market in Europe.
