dSPACE expands its presence in the United Kingdom

dSPACE, the leading supplier of solutions for the development and testing of electronic control systems, is pleased to announce the opening of a new project centre based at Warwick in the United Kingdom. The addition of this second UK location complements the company’s office in Melbourn, Cambridgeshire, and addresses the steadily growing presence of dSPACE products in the UK market. With this new location, dSPACE will be even closer to its UK customers, affirming its strong commitment to outstanding customer support, which has always been a driving factor in the company’s success. A key aspect of this support is and will be to further the understanding of dSPACE tools and to demonstrate to users the significant benefits of an effective deployment.

Broad spectrum of services offered

The Warwick Project Centre will provide UK customers with a combination of aftersales support, consultation, engineering services, coaching, and guidance in product best practices. With 130 square meters of space, the new location offers a flexible mixture of collaborative office environment, extensive laboratory space with three-phase power, and application areas to showcase technical capabilities and software. The team at the Warwick project centre carries a complementary mixture of experience across control system development and testing that will provide a firm foundation. Furthermore, the dSPACE Project Centre will adapt and evolve to meet customer needs, complementing the strong relationships and support network with the well-established Cambridgeshire office as well as the development centre in Paderborn, Germany.

Stronger presence at the UK’s Automotive Centre of Gravity

UK manager Dr. Philip Clarke said: “dSPACE is keen to provide a facility with a close presence to our major market. Warwick is a centre of gravity for the UK automotive industry and we want to be able to respond to the needs of our users.”

Project centre manager Dr. Keith James, who has a wealth of project experience working for major OEMs and tier one suppliers, said: “I am truly excited about this new expansion and look forward to developing this new chapter for dSPACE in the UK. With this project centre, we will mirror the excellent support and engineering capability that our other project centres provide around the world.”
